Edyta Mechlińska is a nurse with 30 years of professional experience. She began her career in the Haematology Department at the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw, followed by the Neurosurgery Department at the Ministry of Interior and Administration Hospital in Warsaw.

She has lived in Gdańsk for 20 years. Her experience includes the Haematology Department at the Polish Red Cross Hospital in Gdynia, the Ministry of Interior and Administration Hospital in Gdańsk, the Father E. Dutkiewicz Hospice and a primary care clinic in Brzeźno.

For five years, she has been responsible for the nursing and midwifery team at Tartaczna 2. Her work includes blood collection, swabs, cervical cytology and HPV samples, spirometry, and fitting ECG and blood pressure monitors.

She administers subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous injections and infusions, and assists with surgical and gynaecological procedures. She is qualified in administering vaccinations, recording ECGs and providing wound care, including removing sutures and changing dressings.
