At Tartaczna 2 Medical Centre in Gdańsk, we offer private gynaecology consultations, diagnostic investigations and pregnancy care. We support women planning a pregnancy, those who are pregnant or have recently given birth, and patients seeking preventive care, treatment for gynaecological symptoms or help with menopause.

Gynaecologist in Gdańsk – consultations, screening and treatment

During a gynaecology appointment, the doctor discusses your symptoms, previous results and expectations. The examination and further investigations are tailored to your needs. We can help with:

• irregular, painful or heavy periods and abnormal bleeding,
• genital infections, itching, burning and pain during intercourse,
• ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids and suspected endometriosis,
• difficulties conceiving and the need for fertility assessment or investigations for recurrent miscarriage,
• symptoms associated with menopause.

We provide gynaecological ultrasound and preventive tests, including liquid-based cytology and high-risk HPV testing, selected according to your age, medical history and previous results. Colposcopy is also available when indicated.

Pregnancy care in Gdańsk

We offer preconception consultations, pregnancy management and antenatal care, preparation for childbirth and postnatal check-ups. Appointments, laboratory tests and ultrasound scans are planned according to the stage of pregnancy and the health of the mother and baby.

For women with existing medical conditions or other risk factors, we arrange an appropriate plan of high-risk pregnancy care and any necessary specialist consultations. Patients can also access midwife consultations and breastfeeding support.

Our centre offers prenatal screening, CTG monitoring and the NIFTY test. NIFTY is a screening test: it assesses the risk of selected conditions and does not replace ultrasound. A result indicating an increased risk requires a consultation and confirmation with an appropriate diagnostic test.

Ultrasound examinations are performed using GE Voluson Signature S18 and Voluson E10 systems, which also support 3D/4D imaging. Your doctor determines the type and timing of each examination as part of your care plan.

Contraception – choosing a method and arranging a procedure

We help you choose contraception according to your health, pregnancy plans and preferences. Our services include advice on hormonal and non-hormonal methods, fitting, replacement and removal of intrauterine devices, and contraceptive implant insertion and removal. A medical assessment is required before a procedure.

Gynaecological investigations and procedures

Depending on clinical indications, we offer endometrial biopsy, HyFoSy testing of fallopian tube patency, cervical polyp removal, LEEP/LLETZ procedures and genital wart removal. The planned procedure and preparation are discussed at the consultation.
