Dr Marek Korożan is a gynaecologist and obstetrician and a graduate of the Medical Academy of Gdańsk. Until 2025, he coordinated the Obstetrics and Neonatology Department at LUX MED Hospital Gdańsk, formerly Swissmed. From 2007 to 2021, he worked in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at St Adalbert's Hospital in Gdańsk-Zaspa. He also worked with the obstetrics and gynaecology department at Copernicus Hospital and with the Father E. Dutkiewicz Hospice as a perinatal care consultant and clinical research coordinator.

He has supplemented his experience in Poland with placements, courses and clinical training abroad, including work at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center in the United States. He is a member of the Polish Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (PTGiP) and holds Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF, London) certification in prenatal screening. He regularly attends specialist training.

Experience and patient recognition

He has received repeated nominations and awards in the Hipokrates Pomorza readers' poll in the Gynaecologist category: second place in 2017 and 2019, and first place in 2018 and 2022.

Dr Korożan is a co-founder of Tartaczna 2 Medical Centre. He provides gynaecological and obstetric care, including pregnancy care and high-risk pregnancy consultations.
